PETERBOROUGH CITY COUNCIL (PCC)

We provide racial discrimination, racial harassment, immigration, nationality and EEA advice services through our SLA with Peterborough City Council.

We also provide Central Support Services which include providing advice and guidance on the development and support of cohesive communities, providing advice and support in relation to general equality issues and promoting race equality within PCC partnerships.

MENTER - 'ABC' FORUM

We have been funded by MENTER to set up a Forum of BME Young People to understand and identify areas of racial inequality and plan how these could possibly be remedied.

The 'ABC' Forum has therefore been set up, encompassing 18 core members between 15 and 25. In 2009/10 the group identified areas where BME Young People faced racial inequalities and now in the 2nd year of the project, these ideas will pave the way for change.

CROSS KEYS HOMES

We provide adivce and support in relation to the race relations act and general race/community cohesion issues. We attend Cross Keys Equality & Diversity meetings.

LITTLEHEY PRISON

We provide advice & support on targets relating to the Race Relations Act, with specific reference to public duty, racial harassment casework and continuing improvement of anti- discrimination policies and practices.

REGIONAL OFFENDER MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Advise on impact assessments, recruitment strategies and general advice/guidance with regard to race relations.

WHITEMOOR PRISON

We provide advice & support on targets relating to the Race Relations Act, with specific reference to public duty, racial harassment casework and continuing improvement of anti-discrimination policies and practices.
